This weekend - the MOST IMPORTANT WEEKEND!

We've delivered the knockout PUNCH - now let's finish them off!

Just a quick message reminding you guys that THIS WEEKEND is the most important weekend in our efforts to kick this flop out of the theaters. Especially moreso since it's a four-day weekend. While a movie may underperform on it's opening weekend, some studios will try to push it and wait a second weekend before lowering it's distribution and taking the movie out of theaters. THIS is the week where we have to stick it to them. Please continue your efforts more than ever and make sure that as few as possible people go and see Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Besides "O" and "Jeepers Creepers", a couple of older releases are getting a last push at the box office. 'Atlantis' is expanding from 125 theaters to over 700 while 'Pearl Harbor' is expanding from 116 to 1,036. If you haven't seen these flicks yet and you absolutely need to be at the movies this weekend - go check them out.

My prediction for the four-day weekend:

  1. Rush Hour 2 - $14 million
  2. American Pie 2 - $11 million
  3. Jeepers Creepers - $11 million
  4. O - $9 million
  5. The Others - $8 million
  6. Rat Race - $8 million
  7. Summer Catch - $6 million
  8. Captain Corelli's Madolin - $3 million
  9. Ghosts of Mars - $2.8 million
  10. Planet of the Apes - $2.5 million

  11. Jurassic Park III - $2.5 million
  12. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back - $2 million

'Strike Back' Merchandise?

I've gotten an inordinate amount of e-mail requesting 'Strike Back Against Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back' Merchandise. Is this something you would like to see? I'm definetely not in this for the money and any merchandise I sell would be at cost - but if the demand runs high enough I'll definetely do it to spread the word. After many initial requests came in - a friend of mine sent me these t-shirt designs he told me he could whip up:

"These shirts will be screenprinted on 100% black heavyweight cotton t-shirts. The images will be faily high-rez and the quality is excellent. Let me know if you want some samples."

If you're interested in a t-shirt - please let me know at jsbsuck@jayandsilentbobstrikeback.com

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back Continues to Tank!

Jay and Silent Bob still failing at the box office!!

Box office reports from Monday and Tuesday are reflecting the fact that any theater showing Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back are playing to mostly empty seats! (I'd hate to be one of those seats). There's no doubt that a 'Batman & Robin' scenario is going on here and that the bad word of mouth is killing any desire for people to go see the movie. Add to that the people from this site dissauding people from going to the movie and I'll be very surprised if the movie does not dip below the top ten this weekend.

Opening this weekend are a couple of promising features that should help bump off Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back:

"O" moves the classic tale of Othello onto the basketball courts of a high school, the story focuses on a young black man named Odin (Phifer) who is convinced by a conniving best friend, Hugo (Hartnett) that his girlfriend (Stiles) is cheating on him. Of course, what Odin doesn't know is that Hugo is in fact motivated by his own jealousy of Odin's good fortune. Things turn nasty.

"Jeepers Creepers" tells about Trish (Gina Philips) and her brother Darry (Justin Long) as they watch their routine road trip home from college turn into a heart stopping race for their lives. They find themselves the chosen prey of an indestructible force that relentlessly pursues them and gives a new and chilling meaning to the old song Jeepers Creepers."

If you're at the movies and have seen everything else (besides Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back), then check one or both of these out.

Anyone see THIS over the weekend?

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back does so bad that Kevin Smith BEGS his fans to go see it!

Posted by Kevin on August 25, 2001 at 12:36:05:

If we're to take the number one spot this weekend, I'm going to have to shamelessly (or shamefully) ask for your help today (or tonight)...

I need you to go pay to see the flick again. Today. Saturday. Not Sunday (although, feel free to go again Sunday, if you're so inclined); but SATURDAY.

Right now, we were number one for last night. But the margin between us and the number two flick ('American Pie 2') was about four hundred grand. I'd like to make that margin much wider, so that we can comfortably slide into first place for the weekend - which would be a View Askew first (and probably last).

So if you saw it last night (or last week), please pay to see it again tonight. And bring a few friends. Or a few thousand friends even. Because it's really important to win the Saturday, if we're to win the weekend. And if we win the weekend...

Well, there's a surprise in store for ya'll if we win the weekend. A very nice surprise, if you like Jay and Silent Bob.

So help a brother out. Please.

Tell you what - I'll sweeten the pot: anyone that sends in a Friday night AND Saturday night ticket stub gets a free, signed and personalized 'Jay and Silent Bob' mini-poster. Seriously. The ticket stubs have to be from the same theater, with two respective dates on them (Aug 24th and Aug 25th only).

Send the above-described ticket stubs and name to...

Kev's Utter Lack of Dignity
c/o View Askew
3 Harding Road
Red Bank, NJ
07701

I know this may come off as desperate, but there's one more thing I'd like to do with Jay and Bob before I put 'em to bed, and in order to do that, we need to win the weekend. So you're help would be much appreciated (and rewarded).

HAHAHAHA! Can you even imagine Kubrick or Lucas BEGGING his fans to go see their movies? What a joke.

Bad Plot + 2 Unfunny Characters = Box Office Bomb

Jay and Silent Bob fails at the box office!!

Sorry for the late update - I'm been replying to all the mail pouring in from this weekend - most if it filled with disappointment, many many bad reviews and some of them were just downright mean. There were also many messages filled with praise for this site. Please - no more thanks for trying to warn people about this movie. Just thank me by NOT GOING.

If you haven't heard already, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back took a VERY DISAPPOINTING Third Place this weekend with a meager $11 million box office take. This is especially disappointing considering that the movie opened up in OVER 2700 theaters and was beaten out by two movies which have been in theaters over 3 weeks. This is good news people and sets the movie up for a short life at the theaters.

Expect Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back to take a 75% drop in box office totals next week and expect it to hit the dollar theaters in a couple weeks. This will reflect the ongoing trend with Kevin Smith movies in which all the drones see the movie the first weekend and then they don't go back for the second or third. Well the ones who aren't stupid enough to go see it again that is!

Remember folks - we have to keep this next week's box office take low to ensure a quicker death at the box office - keep up your work (discouraging people at the theaters, telling friends not to see it, etc). Strength in numbers - this will only work if we strike back together.

A few of the reviews that have come in

"I really wish I would have found this site earlier - the only reason I came here in the first place was because I thought www.jayandsilentbobstrikeback.com housed one of those promo sites and I could send an e-mail to someone about how bad it was. I'll admit that was drawn into the movie by all the cameo roles. I thought this movie could really be funny - however Kevin Smith seemed content with filling the movie with dick and fart jokes instead of intelligent humor. I was hoping perhaps that this movie would return to the great humor that Smith showed in Clerks. This movie was nothing but a waste and I ask anyone who is reading this and who has not seen the movie to avoid it. I wish I had."

"I obviously made the wrong choice in movies this weekend and I wish I could have my $9 back. Thank god someone is standing up to expose the frauds that made this film. For the record though I went because my girlfriend wanted me to go and it was either that or not get any this weekend. I should have chose the latter - it would have been well worth abstaining for a few days instead of seeing this piece of crap."

"I didn't think I'd ever say this - but I just saw a movie worse than 'Dogma' and 'Chasing Amy'"

I have a million more (most of them filled with hate and expletives).

August 24th, 2001

The Big Day

Just a reminder to those of you heading to the theater this weekend (to watch anything other than Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back of course) to make every effort to dissauade those sitting on the fence about seeing this movie - based on the 90% horrible reviews that I've read on this flick (the other 10% were obviously paid off, bribed or biased fans anyway) - that number should not be too great. It appears that Summer Catch, Bubble Boy, Ghosts of Mars, and the holdovers Rush Hour 2, American Pie 2, Planet of the Apes, The Others, and Rat Race are tracking much better than Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Remember though - the movie won't disappear from the theaters by itself - you and I both need to help spread bad word of mouth as well to keep it out of the Top Ten.

And as this big day has arrived (much faster than it seemed - this summer just seemed to fly by with all the work I've been putting into this site and answering e-mails and board posts), I'd just like to thank all of you that took the time to e-mail me with words of encouragement. There were a LOT more of you than I initially thought when I first started this site and I'm very glad I did. Each day as I check to see how many supporters have joined our mailing list I grow more and more encouraged that this was the best idea I've ever had.

I have to thank a few people for making this happen as I did not do everything myself. Thanks to DefBringer for setting up the domain names for me and for helping me set up the board. Thanks to Jon Vogel for the header image that graces the top of this site. HUGE thanks to the former PA who took the time to send me his story and his video and for risking possible job security and his own safety to speak out. Your story was a huge inspiration to all.

And now if you'll excuse me - I'm off to catch something OTHER than Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (pun intended).

August 22nd, 2001

Will the REAL KEVIN SMITH PLEASE STAND UP?

Finally after weeks of waiting, we have an exclusive story, sent to us by a former production assistant about what Kevin Smith was really like on the set of 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back'. I'll let the words from a man who saw things firsthand speak for themselves.

Also as a bonus we have encoded clips from the documentary footage shot by the PA during production. We'll let them speak for themselves as well.

READ THE STORY HERE!!!

I WAS RIGHT! Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back is a HUGE POS!!!

I'm sure by now most, if not all of you caught the flick during it's Saturday August 18th preview screening. Now that you've all seen this piece of wasteful garbage - you all now see that I, and all that have mailed me predicting that this movie was crap were right. I know you detractors of me and this site will not be mailing me to say that I was right and that I tried to warn you - but I know in my heart and mind what you all think - especially after seeing this laughless piece of "comedy".

Yes - most of you criticized me before for bashing a movie that I had not seen yet. Well criticize no more - yes I did see the movie this weekend - but I didn't pay to see it (nothing could get me to actually contribute to the grosses for the movie). I pulled the 'buy a ticket to 'American Pie 2' and sneak into the 7:35pm showing of 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back'. Needless to say that the only reason I did it was to 1) get all you losers who have criticized me off your back and 2) prove that *I WAS RIGHT*.

I won't ruin any of the bad moments of the film for those of you who haven't seen it yet - I am - as I have since the beginning - warning you to save you 8 bucks - it's not worth it people.

For the record - I've looked all around at all the websites to see what the box office grosses were for the preview screening and saw that Dimension did not care to release any figures. Hmmm...?

PACKAGE RECEIVED!!

The package from the former P.A. on the Jay and Silent Bib Strike Back set that got fired ARRIVED TODAY!! Wait until you see this story and this tape - it is going to blow away anything that you've seen before. I will have the complete story up tomorrow and I hope to have the video clips encoded as well. Explosions, bad takes, and general inappropriate behavior mildly describes what went on this set. I'm dying to release it all now but I want to do it exactly right. STAY TUNED TOMORROW!!

UPDATE: I've decided to post an except from the PA's story:

"I was among 5 PA's (Productions Assistants) and crew members on the Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back set in Los Angeles who were unceromoniously fired less than halfway through the shoot. I was a first timer on one of Kevin's sets and having heard from reports from the media how laid back his previous sets were, I thought this would be a fun experience. Unfortunately I was dead wrong and I'm here to tell you and others who are not fans, that the production of this movie was not the happy go lucky experience all the reports say it was (most of those reports coming from sponsored sources like Wizard Managine and that moron from Aint It Cool News (I'll talk about him in a second)). It was instead one of the most unprofessional filmmaking experiences that I have ever been through - it pains me to see these so-called news reports from the set which reported that Kevin Smith is a laid back director and that the atmopshere on the set is a fun one. This is simply not true"

Dimension's last ditch effort

Kevin Smith confirmed yesterday that Dimension is using a last ditch marketing effort to spur interest in the movie. This Saturday, August 18th - there will be a sneak preview of the movie on 1000 screens. Their hope is to generate pre-release date hype on Saturday with hopefully good word of mouth - which will then theoretically increase the box office take on the official opening weekend. This is widely regarded as a last ditch effort for most studios - to market a movie as a 'sneak preview' so that people will go running to see it like it's something special. It's a widely used tactic so that SOME money can be made off the movie.

So if you're around at the theaters this Saturday - be sure to warn anyone foolish enough to even THINK about purchasing a ticket.

hey, i sent the goods in the mail today - depending on how the USPS works, you should have it in two days. Enclosed is a tape with incriminating footage that I shot on DV (I transferred it to VHS for you) while on set - this stuff was meant for the documentary on the making of the film. If you can get it on the site it would be great. I'm also sending over the accompanying story of my hellish experience working with Kevin Smith and his monstrously unprofessional attitute towards crew and actors. Please be sure to post all this together. I hope you can get this out before the film is released.

I hope there's some good stuff on that tape - I'll have it up asap.

View Askew - Box Office Fear

In Reply to: Opening weekend gross... dose of reality... posted by Darth Angelus on August 13, 2001 at 19:33:07:

The fact is, JAY & SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK is opening with almost NO heat behind it re: box-office predictions. Has it been on ANY summer box-office prediction lists? No.

With that in mind, if it does do around $12 million... HOW ON EARTH IS THAT BAD NEWS? That would be the biggest View Askew opening by a long shot.

My own prediction is JAY & SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK could do similar to what the first AUSTIN POWERS did. Mike Myers was basically a cult figure at that point- yeah, WAYNE'S WORLD made money but the sequel didn't do so well and SO I MARRIED AN AXE MURDERER was an outright flop, and AUSTIN POWERS opened with little heat, and yet it became a sleeper hit and did what, around $50 million?

My own prediction is that JAY & SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK could follow a similar trend. Not many people really know who Jay & Silent Bob are outside of the core fans, but if the film is genuinely funny and well-recieved- and it looks like it indeed will be quite well-recieved critically- look for it to open with decent, if not record-breaking, numbers, and build to a nice, solid final gross in the $50 million range. And in the end, is that BAD? Hell no. It will be the biggest View Askew hit by a long shot and will be warmly regarded as a "sleeper hit" of the late summer.

Of course, I'm hoping it will do huge, gang-buster numbers and gross hundreds of millions, but I think $50 million is more realistic and nothing to shake a stick at.

Vincent

: Well, many people have been making projections as to what J&SBSB will make it's opening weekend, and while I was originally guessing around 30 million, after this weekends gross of 45 million by AP2, as well as the fact it's the highest grossing opening for an R comedy, I'm gonna be lowering my guessimate to somewhere around 12 million. : I am discovering more and more people who have never even heard of the movie, and seeing as it's coming out in less than two weeks, that is bad. Plus, if you compare AP original gross of 100 million to Dogma's 30 million, the movie is in serious trouble. Plus, Bubble Boy is gonna hurt it. Sadly, it's true.

Don't be fooled - "Sleeper Hit" = did not perform to expectations. And after ads and distribution costs - $50 million (yeah right) - would not cover the costs of this wasteful wasteful film.

I am *NOT* Kevin Smith!!

This is for all your moron out there who keep mailing me thinking that *I* am Kevin Smith. I am certainly not Kevin Smith, do not KNOW Kevin Smith and lastly and leastly am not a FAN of Kevin Smith. Please take note of this!! Secondly for you morons out there who keep mailing me asking if this site is created by Miramax, Dimension, View Askew or News Askew - the answer is a resounding HELL NO! Why you would think that based on the content and messages of this site - I don't know. I suggest that if you come to this site and you deem yourself a lowly fan - then please turn around and leave - stop FLOODING MY MESSAGE BOARDS and just LEAVE! I dare you to waste your eight bucks in two weeks because when you see what tripe the movie is, you'll be back here telling me that I was right.

Anti Strike Back Website?

Check out what some moron took the time to put up - It's the Jay and Silent Bob Rule website and it's squarly targeted at this site. File this one under yet another pathetic attempt. I gots news for you son - this site is here to stay and we're growing huge. Good luck with that example of a bad website. How dare you call yourself a webmaster. Maybe it's time for you to move out of your mom's basement and take a look at that round yellow thing in the sky called the sun!

American Pie 2 takes in 45 million this weekend

If you haven't seen American Pie 2 yet - RUN to the theater now and check it out! Not only is it a great sequel (most people liked it as much as or better than the first one - file me under the latter), but it looks like it's on a huge roll along with Rush Hour 2 and is poised to knock Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back off the charts when it opens in a couple weeks. That's a one-two punch I'd hate to be at the receiving end of. I almost feel sorry for Kevin Smith. Almost.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back release pushed back to AUGUST 24th!!!

Kevin Smith announced that the release date has again been pushed back until August 24th. Obviously Dimension/Miramax got spooked for some reason - spooked enough to push back the release date this late in the game (2 weeks prior to release). Perhaps they called the Final Fantasy folks and got some insight on failures on a Wednesday opening. Perhaps the crush from Rush Hour 2 and American Pie 2 (opening today and will still be in theaters on August 24th) has them shaking in their boots. Perhaps even the presence of THIS SITE has them scared. (I've gotten more thna few e-mails from Miramax/Dimension folks asking me to take down this site (and not in those kind words) that I haven't posted yet). Whatever the reason - know this - I smell the fear.

The plan is to still go ahead and rise up - only two days later and to Strike Back on August 24th.

Rush Hour 2 pulls in a record $66.8 million dollars on it's opening weekend!

Sorry to go a bit off topic here - as you may have read - The Jackie Chan/Chris Tucker starrer Rush Hour 2 pulled in a record $66.8 million on it's opening weekend. If this movie follows the usual trend - it will dip down about 30% in box office grosses next week (moving it down to about $40 million next week) and then another 30-40% the following weeks (when Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is out) meaning it will probably be pulling in $15-20 the weekend Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is out. Add in the grosses from American Pie 2, Bubble Boy and Summer Catch and you have a Kevin Smith movie that will probably not even make the Top Ten that weekend. A big congratulations to New Line!!

Kevin Smith vs. GLAAD

It appears we have a new unlikely ally in the organization GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation). It appears that they didn't like the movie as well (not a big surprise) but for an entirely different reason - they are vehemently against all the homophobic jokes in the movie.

Read all about it here:

EXCLUSIVE!! I got a reply from the mysterious disgruntled PA that sent me mail a few days ago. This is what I wrote to him:

Dear Disgruntled PA

Thanks for checking out your site. Already I've gotten e-mail from people who want to hear more - espcially about the part about Kevin Smith beating you up(?) I also have to warn you that most of the e-mails I've received were skeptical. I do want to hear your story tough and I'll promise complete anonymity - as long as you can provide enough proof to back yourself about actually being on set and seeing disturbing things. (We've gotten a few e-mails from people which were obviously total lies - such as the one from a guy who said he caught Kevin Smith masturbating in the back of his comic store when Kevin wasn't even IN New Jersey but in LA filming the movie) The forum is open. Oh and please go into further detail about this 'goody' you've got.

This is what I received back:

Hello,

Thanks for writing back - sorry I didn't go into further detail before. I've spend the last few days remembering the events that occurred about 6 months back when I PAed on the set and I've gotten most of it down in writing that I'll bundle off and mail you soon. I think from the details contained within - you'll soon have no doubt that I'm who I say I am. I'll send it over soon. Please feel free to post it - as long as you do so IN FULL.

As for that goody i mentioned before - it's a tape I have while I was running a video camera meant for the 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back' documentary that was being shot during production. I managed to slip away with it before I left the set and I'll send it over on the condition that you don't show anything with me in it or my voice. Do you have a video capture card or anything? Maybe you can stream it or something. Send me an address and I'll mail you a copy for the site. I think some of the footage you have on there might be interesting if you can post it. Let me know.

A tape with damaging footage? If I really do get it, believe me, the footage will be on here the next day. Stay tuned to the site!

The media blitz is begining it seems as theater walls are being littered with the god awful 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back' poster. And be careful what you watch this week as the airwaves are beginning to become littered with some very unfunny (not to mention they don't make any sense) tv commercials.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back Poster released. Thank god it looks as horrible as it does - showing nothing about the plot and featuring a bunch of people no one really cares about (except for maybe Ben Affleck and Chris Rock). This movie is certain to fail if the rest of the marketing campaign is as shitty as the poster.

Kevin Smith updates us on upcoming 'Jay and Silent Bob events and media 'blitzes'. NOTE: it says he will be on The Howard Stern Show on opening day - August 22, 2001. This is our chance to flood the call-in lines and tell Kevin and the world what we 'fans' really think.

It's too long to type here so just visit here: http://www.viewaskew.com/newboard/messages286/23.html

EXCLUSIVE! I've just received a very disturbing e-mail today from a person claiming to be a former PA who worked on 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back'. In it he mentions the some of the horrible things that happened to him on the set and how things were not as happy go lucky as some of the reports from the media have made it out to be:

hey, love the site - I don't know when it went up but I stubled across it looking for 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back' stuff. I was actually a P.A. on the set back in Jan - February and I have a few stories that might interest you and anyone else who reads this webpage. The stories you've been hearing from some online media outlets (AICN) about how thngs went smoothly on the set are all lies. I know because not only did I see horrible thing happening while working, but I nearly got assualted by Kevin Smith himself on the job. I know that might sound odd after hearing some of stories about what a nice guy he is, but I know what I saw and what happened to me. It's actually a long story that I'll send you later if you'd like, along with a nice goody I got from the set before I left - maybe you or someone you know can post it.

Keep up the good work.

I'll write him back and see what this purported 'goody' is. I'll keep everyone updated.

HUGE Thanks to Jonathan Vogel for our new header image! I think it looks a ton better than the one I came up with when started this site a month ago.

I've also posted a list of alternative movies you can check out on August 24, 2001 if you are heading to the movies. Again - just a reminder to not only avoid the movie on it's opening day and weekend - but to encourage other people to do so as well if you see them at the theatre buying tickets!! (this worked once when I was with a friend and there was a huge line for "Go" and it looked like the tickets might be sold out. We started telling people how Doug Lyman was a horrible director and how we thought 'Swingers' sucked. Needless to say - we got our tickets). There will a bunch of other movies (better movies!) that you can spend eight bucks on that weekend. They are:

  • American Pie 2 (opens August 10th - will stll be in theatres)
  • Rush Hour 2 (opens August 3rd - will still be in theatres)
  • Americas Sweethearts (opens July 20th - should still be in theaters (Julia Roberts))
  • Planet of the Apes (opens July 28, 2001 - should still be in theatres)
  • Original Sin (opens August 3rd - should still be in theaters)
  • Osmosis Jones (opens August 10th - shoul still be in theatres)
  • Bubble Boy (opens August 24th)
  • Summer Catch (opens August 24th)

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back release date moves to Wednesday August 22, 2001! Dimension Films thinks it can make the movie do better by moving it to a Wednesday opening. The theory goes that people will seeit on Wednesday and then tell their friends about how good it is on Thursday thus pushing a big weekend opening as well. As Final Fantasy proved however, this is more likely to BACKFIRE - as it is certian to do with this movie.

Watch the official Jay and Silent Bob Strike back trailer here. This is THE official trailer as compared to the two Internet Only Trailer that Kevin Smith littered the web with a month ago. This trailer is longer and is more revealing as to what the plot of the movie is about (watch for the tired references to Star Wars - including a horible cameo from Carrie Fisher (WHY???!!)) Watch it if you have time to kill and decide for yourself not to see this movie.

This site is now official! I've managed to obtain the domain names and purchase some real webspace (no more of that crappy Angelfire). You can either use the domain names www.jayandsilentbobstrikeback.com or www.bluntmanandchronic.com - the name of the movie within the movie and I got www.jayandsilentbob.com.

The Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back Soundtrack is now listed up at Jay & Silent Bob's Secret Stash. It includes songs from tired old bands such as Run DMC, Steppenwolf and get this.. Bon Jovi! Another one for the cutout bin. Avoid the record stores on August 7th when it comes out!

Second Internet Only Trailer Released! And this one is worse than the first one! This one confirms my suspicions - that this movie is one big bash on the internet reviewers. Watch Jay and Silent Bob run around and make a pathetic attempt at blaming the ruining of their good names on the thing we hold dear - the Internet. Watch for the cheap Star Wars and Scooby Doo plugs. Don't take my word for how this movie is going to be - watch this trailer and decide NOT to go see it for yourself.

Internet Only Trailer Released! All the talk and hype is now backed up by images - and by the looks of things - the movie did not turn out as well as had hoped. As speculated - the movie is on par with Mallrats (and destined to do the same box office). Things to look for - SNL's Will Ferrell (and you know how good SNL movies do), Jason Lee as Brodie (from the aforementioned smash Mallrats), the clerks from Clerks, and Jay and Silent Bob running around just like they have in the LAST FOUR KEVIN SMITH MOVIES!!

Oddly enough - I think that Kevin Smith felt this trailer was so bad - that he buried it within a talkback message board to see if anyone would find it (or not find it I guess).
